Introducing: Luck!

Luck is a brand-new stat in Touhou LostWord that allows you to obtain Luck Drops from Stages!

Luck Drops

Stages eligible for obtaining these bonus drops will have a small mark next to them on the selection screen.
When you complete these Stages, you’ll have a chance of receiving Luck Drops based on the Luck stats of the Friends in your Party.
Each Friend in your Party will give you an additional chance to receive a Luck Drop.

Friends will start with a minimum of 5 Luck and can raise that value up to 100.
The higher the value, the higher the chance you’ll have to get a Luck Drop at the end of a Stage! The percentage chance of receiving a Luck Drop is directly correlated to a Friend’s Luck Value. (eg, 50 Luck = 50%)
If you raise a Friend’s Luck to 100, you’re guaranteed to get a Luck Drop AND you’ll unlock a 2nd Luck Drop slot!

How to Raise Luck

There are currently 3 ways to raise a Friend’s Luck Stat:
1. Another of the same Friend (+5 ~, depending on the Luck of the Friend you use)
2. That type of Friend’s Limit Break Material (+5)
3. Lucky Mirrors (+1 per Mirror)

Luck Story Cards

Alongside the Luck Stat, new “Luck Story Cards” are also being added to Touhou LostWord.

These Luck Story Cards will be available as Luck Drops from certain Stages. Their first ability is fixed, but their stat parameters and 2nd & 3rd abilities are random!

*Luck Story Cards of the same type share the same art.
*Can be strengthened the same way as regular Story Cards.
*Can be used to Limit Break even if stats/abilities differ.

Be sure to try out Luck & the new Luck Story Cards when they become available in the game on February 15th!

This Stage will drop Scrolls, Tiles, and Books! The type and rarity will vary depending on the difficulty! You will also earn Medicine, Superior Incense, and Incense Burners for first-time clears!

And don’t forget, you can earn VS Divergent Spirits Rituals & VS Divergent Spirits Guaranteed Rituals to perform the special Prayers by clearing the VS Divergent Spirits stages!

The two Ritual Prayers will also include exclusive Friends not found anywhere else in the game!

This VS Divergent Spirits Stage will feature the Luck Story Card, “It’s Just Like I Heard” as well!
